HUD Secretary Visits Reconcile

U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Shaun Donovan toured the O.C. Haley Corridor Thursday with Senator Mary Landrieu and Mayor Mitch Landrieu. At the conclusion of their tour, they stopped at Cafe Reconcile to meet with leaders in the Central City nonprofit sector. The Secretary expressed how hopeful the recovery of Central City has made him, and he pledged to do everything he can to help continue the positive growth of the neighborhood.
Senator Landrieu joined the Secretary in praising community leaders for their efforts at renewal, and she praised Cafe Reconcile for being a national leader in youth workforce development.
