Our Mission
Reconcile New Orleans, Inc. helps out-of-school young people (ages 16-22) to develop the skills and confidence they need to get and keep jobs in New Orleans’ hospitality industry. Café Reconcile, our weekday lunch restaurant in Central City, provides the primary training platform for our students. Since 2000, we have served more than 800 young people, helping them to develop self-esteem, change their mindset about work, and acquire transferrable skills that will help them find stability and success for themselves and their families.
“Feed Your Soul” Dinners
Plan your group’s next special event in our Café. Our “Feed Your Soul” dinners provide local and out-of-town groups with an opportunity to experience a great meal while also learning about one of New Orleans’ most important initiatives to help young adults from highly at-risk populations make positive changes in their lives.
We can accommodate groups of 30-80 for buffet or plated dinners, and our menu can be tailored to your group’s needs, from our standard fare of soul food items to fine dining. Various pricing options are available, beginning at $25/person plus labor and facility costs.
Off-site Catering
Hire Reconcile to cater your wedding reception, conference dinner or other event at an off-site location. We have catered large and small events at a number of local sites, including: The Cabildo, Presbytere, U.S. Mint, New Orleans Museum of Art, Contemporary Arts Center, and Degas House.
