“Chef Curtis” Pollet

As Café Reconcile’s Department Chef, Chef Curtis works with the students to prepare all the main courses and side dishes. Before coming to Reconcile, Curtis owned and operated an optical business in Chalmette that was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Curtis began volunteering at Café Reconcile after the storm and turned his passion for cooking into his new profession. Curtis works at the Café because he loves seeing the positive change in the young adults who commit themselves to the rigors of the program.
